A Cook's Books is recipe management software designed to make storing, editing, and finding recipes a snap.
The program features an elegant interface that makes adding recipes, editing existing recipes, and scaling recipes by amount or by serving simple and intuitive.
Other features include, importing MasterCooks and other recipes, recipe printing, weekly planning, shopping list generation, and a reference section.
Limitations:
Fully functional demo for up to 10 recipes.
Registration screen at startup.
What's New:
Modified how Illustrations are saved.
Added import support for a new MealMaster format.
The demo now has menu items for purchasing and registering A Cook's Books. The menus are removed when the program is registered.
Added support for importing Connoisseur recipes.
When new cookbooks are opened during a session, the cookbook title now updates correctly in the program title bar.
Added recipe meta-data items for recipe Yield, and Equipment.
Fixed a bug that could cause a crash during ingredient drag and drop.
Added support for unit of measure abbreviations: tsp. and tbsp. (note the periods).
